How the 30-day free month works
The first month is the full app for 30 days, with no card and nothing to set up. Nothing is held back and nothing is watermarked. Save things, search, live with it.
Kepter keeps count for you. The first time you open the drawer, a note says how many days are left, such as “Trial ends in 30 days”, with a “Buy Now” button that shows $2.99 a month or $39 one time. Every day of the trial, Kepter's menu in the menu bar starts with a row that counts the days left, such as “Trial ends in 12 days”, and clicking it shows the plans. In the last 7 days, a note in the drawer also tells you how many days are left, such as “Trial ends in 5 days”, with a “Buy Now” button.
When the 30 days end, Kepter stops working until you click Buy Now:
- $2.99 a month, the founding price, kept for life for anyone who starts now. The eventual price is $4.99.
- $39 one time, and it is yours.
- Do nothing and nothing is charged, because no card was ever taken. Kepter stays stopped.
If you do nothing
Kepter stops. It stops watching your folders, and the drawer, the window and Find each show a screen that says “Trial Ended”, with the price and a “Buy Now” button.
Your files stay exactly where they are, in Finder. Kepter never kept a copy, so nothing is lost and nothing moves. Click Buy Now whenever you like and Kepter starts again, including a pass over anything you saved while it was stopped.
Cancel a monthly plan any time; you keep the days you paid for, and then Kepter stops until you click Buy Now again.
If a monthly payment fails, Kepter keeps working for 14 more days and shows the date it will stop, with an “Update Payment Method” button. Update your payment before then. If you cancel a monthly plan, or a payment is refunded, there are no extra days: Kepter stops when the time you paid for ends.
We never see your card details.
If you meant to cancel and missed it by a day or two, email us. That is a refund, and we will almost always send the first charge back. We are three people, not a billing department.
If your 30 days were already over when you updated
Earlier versions told you Find and Open would keep working after the trial. If your 30 days were already over the first time Kepter 1.3.2 opened on your Mac, Kepter keeps working for 7 more days. It shows the date it stops, with a “Buy Now” button. On that date Kepter stops, as above.
